Shooting in a Studio
The Joys of a Controlled Environment

Tuesday, 9 January 2018

Guest Speaker(s): Jim Ellis, Lauren Fehlhaber

6:00–6:30 / Doors open for check-in and seating
6:30–8:00 / Screening, Presentation, Q&A
8:00–9:00 / Follow-Up Session

Our January meeting will be hosted by Inspired Images Studio in Vista. Come learn the benefits of shooting in a studio. We'll start with a tour of the facilities.

Every filmmaker has done a shot in a practical location like his or her own home. But what if you could move walls to get a better camera angle. Think about having the lighting through a window stay the same and not change as the sun travels across the sky.

Refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

Our Hosts
Jim Ellis is CEO and Executive Producer. He has more than 30 years experience in producing award-winning products from TV commercials to Feature Films.

Lauren Fehlhaber manages the projects, plans video shoots, and designs sets and does graphic artwork. She has a bachelor’s in Interior Design from the Art Institute in San Diego.
