Hello San Diego Filmmakers!!
Come and be a part of another exciting event with our incredible guests: The Award-winning filmmakers of "Sudden Death!", Adam and Melanie Hall. They will share there experiences as filmmakers and their success with one of the most talked about Musical Short Films in 2010 starring John Larroquette, Doug Jones, Mark Christopher Lawrence, and Matt Lutz .
About Sudden Death! the Movie
Los Angeles has been overtaken by a virus known as Sudden Death Syndrome, a disease that causes its victim to die suddenly and has only one symptom...spontaneously breaking into well-choreographed song and dance.
Sudden Death! is a 20 minute film writing and directed by Adam Hall. The film was Hall's MFA thesis film for the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Since July 2010, Sudden Death! has toured across the Country in the Film Festivals and won several awards along the way.
About Adam and Melanie Hall
Adam Hall is an award winning filmmaker in Los Angeles with a background in Political Science. In addition, to his rising success with Sudden Death! the musical, he has also won awards for the films "Anniversary" and "A Mild Case of Death". He and Melanie married not too long after they met in Virginia. He is currently finishing his MFA program at USC and is looking forward to furthering his filmmaking career.
Melanie Hall is also an award-winning filmmaker with a bachelor's in Communication and Political Science. After finishing for MFA in Film and Television, she has continued to pursue her career as a Producer. In addition to working on several award winning Short Films, she has worked as an assistant in several blockbuster films from Paramount, Universal Studios, and Sony Pictures.
