About Half Way the Movie

Synopsis: 18 years of growing up in a house where violence was routine finally became too much for Marshall Dunn, and his rage took over.  Now at age 24, after spending his entire adult life in prison, Marshall is granted a three-month test release.  To earn his freedom, he must convince Miss Vanderheyden, the administrator of a small half-way house, that he is no longer a danger to society. Trudging along the road to recovery with his new family, a thief, a cutter, an alcoholic, and a “special” bunk-mate, Marshall will make peace with his past...or continue his life behind bars. Half Way is currently running through the film festival circuits and has already won several awards including Los Angeles Reel Film Festival and the Park City Film Music Festival.
