WRITING:
THE LONG & THE SHORT OF IT - The Effect On Cast & Crew

Occurred on Tuesday, 11 December 2012

Guest Speaker(s): Marianne Bates, Marni Freedman

Original event synopsis

Whether you have months to work on your script or must have the scene written by morning, two experienced writers will show us how to make those words in your head leap off the page on to the screen.
Vital information for writers, directors and actors who need to know the process of bringing those characters to life.
Marni Freedman and Marianne Bates, both accomplished screenwriters in very different ways, will guide us through the process of bringing that dream to reality.
Some scripts are months or years in development, others written or rewritten on the spot. You'll know how to cope, how to succeed, with both.
