Leslie LaPage, founder and President of LA Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles will bring her perspective and guidance on women in film to San Diego Filmmakers Tuesday evening , April 9th at Video Gear (change of location for April).
With more than 15 years producing, directing, marketing, script development, and promotion for film, TV and theatre, Ms. LaPage's insights will bring valuable knowledge to actors, directors, writers and film students.  Ms. LaPage's projects have appeared on HBO, BET, MTV, Nickelodeon and Lifetime TV.
She will discuss filmmaking by and for women, changes in the industry, and new opportunities.

About the speaker:
Leslie LaPage has produced, directed and line produced for Film, TV, Music Videos, commercials and Theatrical productions for the past 15 years. She has produced features nationally and internationally in both the independent and commercial markets.
Ms. La Page has over 8 years of production background in independent films, and has served as producer, line producer and film production coordinator on numerous independent feature films for independent production companies.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Bachelor of Administration in Marketing, Accounting and a Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing from the California Institute of the Arts.
