MAKING THE EDITOR'S LIFE EASIER: What Everyone In A Production Should Know About Editing

Occurred on Tuesday, 13 August 2013

Guest Speaker: Michael Towe

Original event synopsis

This is a must for ALL involved in the production - both in front and behind the camera!
The editor is the last one to impart creativity before a film is released to the screen. Good footage makes the job pleasant and easy while bad footage turns the job into damage control. It is the last chance to “fix it in post”.For our August presentation, Michael Towe will show us some examples of how different roles on the set can simplify his life or inadvertently make it difficult. This ranges from the script writer through the actors and most of the other crew members in between. Learn what an editor wishes we all knew.
