Original event synopsis

This Tuesday, Producer/Director Chris Cashman, will take us across the border. We'll see the trailer to his latest film 'Club Frontera,' a documentary about the Xoloitzuintles (Xolos) professional Mexican soccer team and their positive impact on the city of Tijuana. He'll provide insight on everything from pre-production, transporting gear, shooting, working with an international cast, and wrapping it all up.

Chris Cashman wrote, produced, and directed his first full feature film, Carts (2007), winning Best Feature Film at the Valley Film Festival in Los Angeles. In 2009, Chris directed the dramatic short film Goofyfoot, which had its world premiere at the 25th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The film went on to screen at the Ventura Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Santa Cruz Film Festival, Temecula International Film Festival, San Diego Film Festival, and the Valley Film Festival in Los Angeles where it won the Audience Award for Best Dramatic Short. Chris most recently produced the feature film Thane of East County (currently in post-production).
