About Ben Dominguez

Multi-National Emmy winner Mr. Ben Dominguez is currently serving as the News and Sports Director for NBC-TV in Los Angeles, the flagship for NBC West. He is a Senior Legacy Producer for NBC.

Ben's career covers more then thirty years. In that time he has racked up many impressive awards including:

• Peabody Award Winner: The most prestigious, award in electronic journalism, the Peabody is the equivalent to a Pulitzer prize.
* Multi-National Emmy Award Winner - winning 20 out of 26 nominations

* 2-time, Edward R. Murrow Honoree - The Radio Television Digital News Association honors outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with
the Edward R. Murrow Awards.

* 24 Golden Mike Awards.....we think, Ben has lost count..."a slew of them".
The Golden Mike Awards® are Southern California's most prestigious, and most coveted broadcast journalism prize.

In addition to his work with NBC, Benny has also covered major sports and news stories across the globe for ESPN, CBS, and ABC. His last major gig, he served as the Director for the Golden Globes Red Carpet event. His next major gig is the Summer Olympics.

Ben has been on the cutting edge of technological development in the television industry for over 30 years, serving on a number of developmental teams. He will discuss where we've been and where we're going along with the ethical implications that brings.

He will also talk about TV network journalism and production in general, highlighting his many award winning productions and his insights on creating, formatting and presenting award-winning programming in an effective team environment.
