Film Friendly Native Americans – San Diego’s Unique Opportunity
Occurred on Tuesday, 14 March 2017
Guest Speakers: Ruben Hinojosa, Sam Bearpaw
Original event synopsis
San Diego county is home to eighteen separate native American reservations. This provides filmmakers with unique access to locations and people. Locations range from raw open spaces to upscale golf courses, casinos, parking structures, race tracks, and museums. Native Americans are filmmakers too. Several are members of SAG and know the business from the inside.
Come hear Sam Bearpaw and other tribal representatives talk about collaboration with Native Americans on your next project.
