Awesome seminar today! Thank you John W. Cones for presenting such a great seminar to the San Diego Filmmakers community. It met ALL expectations. Those who were fortunate to attend were enthusiastic about all that they learned. Thanks to all who came out to make it a success.

If you are a filmmaker, make sure you catch John W. Cones at his next seminar. He presented a lot of important material on financing an independent film project. Hopefully San Diego Filmmakers will get him back again next year to present another seminar. You might want to read his books on this subject. Take a look at books by John W. Cones as a resource for your project.

Thanks again John for an outstanding presentation. Thanks to Martin Banks for hosting the event at Video Gear.

From: Adam Hall
Subject: Multi award winning short film Sudden Death!

A while back we came and screened our film, Sudden Death! – winner of more than 50 awards at over 80 film festivals and featuring Doug Jones (Hellboy 1 and 2, Pan’s Labyrinth) and John Larroquette (Night Court, Boston Legal) at San Diego Filmmakers – online now for the first time ever:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpqJ1vaiSao

Finally, a musical where everyone dies.

”Los Angeles has been overtaken by a virus known as Sudden Death Syndrome, a disease that causes it’s victim to die suddenly and has only one symptom… spontaneously breaking into well-choreographed song and dance.”

Sudden Death! is writer/director Adam Hall’s USC MFA thesis film and played in multiple countries around the world for at festivals like the Cleveland International Film Festival, St. Louis IFF, Savannah IFF, Rhode Island IFF, Hollywood FF, Short Shorts Film Fest and Asia, Shanghai IFF, Beijing IFF, Chicago Comedy FF, LA Comedy FF, and many more – racking up over 50 awards, including multiple awards for Best Short, Best Comedy, Best Director, Best Music, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Choreography, etc…

Any help you can provide getting the word out would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much!
Adam Hall
Writer/Director of Sudden Death!
Co-owner of Mildly Fearsome Films
