The San Diego Filmmakers Scholarship is a cash award to be used toward completion of a student-related film project. Many film students have great ideas for films but lack the money to bring them to screen. The San Diego Filmmakers Scholarship helps remedy that. Awards will be given in increments of a $500 Scholarship to Middle or-High School student filmmakers and $1,000 to college level filmmakers. One or more scholarship awards will be granted to each grade group. The final works will be shown at the May San Diego Filmmakers meeting.
